Up until last month, it had been a while since I’d stepped into Sophie’s; for one reason or another, it was pretty safe to say that it had been over a year or almost two. For some of you, this doesn’t mean anything. For others, if you’ve been following me since the beginning, this is quite a huge deal.

Sophie’s is a stone’s throw away from home and I just about remember when it first opened. I had to be reminded some time ago though that Sophie’s had also saved Chelsea’s Beach from All-Bar-One’s permanent residence.

I digress.

The point about this post is that it’s good to be back. Recently, I popped into Sophie’s with the OH to grab a bite to eat, and was greeted by the familiar welcoming of Sophie’s board of salami, which I prefer to bread any day.

Sophie's SteakhouseWhen ordering from the menu, it’s difficult not to order a cocktail or more specifically one of their fabulous martinis. My current favourite is their classic cucumber and mint which is wonderfully refreshing and tasty.

Sophie's SteakhouseThis time round, we didn’t have starters. So for my main, I had the 10oz ribeye …

Sophie's Steakhouse… which we washed down with a delicious gift from Sophie and Rupert. Thanks guys!
