Cinema-Films-To-Watch

Last night I watched Midnight in Paris at the Cineworld on Fulham Road and I loved it! I’m not going to ruin the plot for you, so all I’m going to say is that this is a charming film which is full of romance. It is Woody Allen’s return to form and a wonderful comedy. Go, see it! And beware, you may want to jump on the Eurostar straight after.

Here’s the trailer (it doesn’t give the game away either):

I watched Drive the other night and OMG, what a great film! True, there are plenty of moody close-ups of Ryan Gosling chewing on a toothpick but Drive is more than that. It has a great soundtrack; great cast; and the thrill just creeps up on you and by the end, it doesn’t let you go. This is a film full of surprises. Just how I like it!

Drive is playing at Cineworld Chelsea for the next week. Go see it, before it leaves the cinema. This is definitely a big screen movie!

I finished reading One Day by David Nicholls over the weekend and OMG, I love this book!

Why? Apart from being such a fantastic and well told story, it also shook my world and reminded me of something very important.

What? You’ll just have to find out for yourself.

This book really is a must-read and probably before the film comes out. Starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess, the film will be shown on Cineworld screens from 24th August 2011. I’m not sure yet whether it will be on at the King’s Road or Fulham Road cinema for Chelsea but you can keep up to date with Cineworld’s programme, here.

And if you want to take a sneak peek at the film, here’s the trailer …
