The Rolling Stones Sculptures on Duke of York Square

For a while now I’ve been trying to figure out what I wanted to post on my YouTube channel especially as you normally find me behind the camera. So when the buzz about 360° video increased a couple of months back I realised exactly what I wanted to vlog.

A sense of place dominates the meaning of my social media so it only made sense that I’d give my readers a taste of what it’s like to be walking around the places I go.

So here is my first 360° video: The Rolling Stones sculptures on Duke of York Square that are part of the exhibition that is opening at Saatchi Gallery on 5th April 2016 and will be running until 4th September 2016.

But before you watch this video and in case you’re a 360° newbie, here are a couple of tips:

*At the time of writing this post, Safari doesn’t support 360° so it’s best to watch this video on either Chrome or YouTube’s app

and,

*When watching the video feel free to look around – that’s the whole point of 360° video. If you keep looking straight on, you’ll miss a lot. But if you want to keep your head still, turn your phone in the direction of where the video is moving. If you don’t, you may end up just watching the road and missing the sculptures in this case.

I hope you enjoy my first upload and if you don’t want to miss the other videos I’ll be posting, you can subscribe to my YouTube channel here.
