Up until last month, it had been a while since I’d stepped into Sophie’s; for one reason or another, it was pretty safe to say that it had been over a year or almost two. For some of you, this doesn’t mean anything. For others, if you’ve been following me since the beginning, this is quite a huge deal.
Sophie’s is a stone’s throw away from home and I just about remember when it first opened. I had to be reminded some time ago though that Sophie’s had also saved Chelsea’s Beach from All-Bar-One’s permanent residence.
The point about this post is that it’s good to be back. Recently, I popped into Sophie’s with the OH to grab a bite to eat, and was greeted by the familiar welcoming of Sophie’s board of salami, which I prefer to bread any day.
When ordering from the menu, it’s difficult not to order a cocktail or more specifically one of their fabulous martinis. My current favourite is their classic cucumber and mint which is wonderfully refreshing and tasty.
See you again soon!
