When the winter coats and boots come out and it’s time to switch on the central heating, something also springs to mind. The anti-soif cream-mask from Clarins!
I don’t know how long I’ve been relying on this face mask for. It’s been years and I depend on it to keep my face from drying out.
The official instructions are that you apply the cream to your face, leave it on for 5 to 10 minutes and then wipe any excess off with a toning lotion soaked cotton pad.
When your skin is so dry, the likelihood is that there isn’t any excess and to be honest, I don’t bother wiping any off my face. I tend to leave it on all night so that my skin can soak it up and feel hydrated in the morning.
I also do this on aeroplanes, especially for long-haul flights. Every few hours, I slap this little gem on and by the end of the flight my skin doesn’t look too bad. The way I see it is, if you’re drinking so much water to keep hydrated then surely your skin deserves regularly replenishment as well?
So that’s my little A/W beauty nugget. If you’ve met me and asked me about my skin, this is one of my longstanding must-haves. If you haven’t and have no idea what I look like, I’m in the midst of mustering up some courage to start posting pics of myself on here. Please bear with me.
