So ’tis the season to detox and as I attempt my first January drying out, I periodically glance over at the bottle of red wine sitting nearby and think to myself I must move it out of my sight. I have very little faith that I’ll make it to the end of the month in one healthy piece but nonetheless I’m trying.
My drinking habits usually sway between booze (martinis or champers preferably) and water. Sometimes I reach for the green tea, when I’m hungover, and sometimes I reach for the Numi Tea as I’m doing now. I very rarely drink ‘normal tea’ unless I’m somewhere lovely and eating cake. It’s just a matter of taste and if you’ve read my Afternoon Tea at The Botanist post, you won’t be surprised.
Anyways, I digress. The point of this post is to write about Numi which I love. Why? Simply because of the flavours: White Rose, Golden Chai, Decaf Black Vanilla and Moroccan Mint are my fave. The flavours are rich and delicious and to top it off, Numi is organic.
Without going overboard on my appreciation for Numi, I do feel grateful that the detox process is made somewhat more interesting because of this flavoursome tea. When I think about it, it’s actually not that painful. Actually, maybe I shouldn’t think about it.
You can buy Numi from Whole Foods and Ocado. And if you do try it, I hope you enjoy!
