The Red Shoes comes to the King’s Road on Sunday 15th January at 11am when it shows at Curzon Chelsea.
The 1948 film is loosely based on Hans Christian Andersen’s fairytale and is about a ballet dancer who is torn between love and the need to dance. It’s a legendary film not just in terms of film production but also because its story has inspired many artists, musicians and filmmakers since.
