Sunday Supper at La Brasserie

Last night, after a long day which started with a 40km cycle ride for Cycletta in Bedfordshire and ended back in Chelsea, I went for a great Sunday supper at La Brasserie.

For starters, I had the salmon tartare with a cucumber martini:

The martini packed a punch and wasn’t overly sweet. Despite the mint, it had a savoury flavour which went so well with the salmon starter!

For my main, I ordered the haddock with poached egg on top and pomme frites as a side order. I’d forgotten to order any veg but I didn’t forget to order a glass of Sancerre to accompany it. I clearly needed the carbs!

And for dessert, I had the crème brûlée with a glass of muscat:

La Brasserie is located at the Brompton Cross end of Fulham Road, just a couple of doors away from Chanel, and it’s a fab place to try for either brunch, lunch or supper; or just to sit at the bar for cocktails.

After quite a long week, it was the perfect way to end a Sunday!
